Process Engineer



Position Summary:


The BlueWare Process Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing internal operating processes and external best practices (from pilot to fully operational) to achieve overall goals for BlueWare and our customers. Through critical analysis, the Process Engineer identifies needs and develops processes to ensure seamless operating procedures and best practices.


Responsibilities and Requirements


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing existing procedures, processes and best practices
• Observing practices/processes in action to determine effectiveness
• Performing critical analysis to determine necessary process changes
• Development of process change plans and recommendations, including documentation and presentation format
• Presentation of recommended changes to management
• Effective communication of approved process changes to appropriate parties
• Prompt and efficient implementation of process changes
• Working with technical writers to ensure all processes, procedures and best practices are properly documented and easily accessible
• Minimizes our exposure and risk by ensuring efficient processes, procedures and best practices are in place
• Working closely with project managers and management to consider feedback for potential process changes (both internally and for our customers)
• Reports to General Manager
• Traveling frequently, both domestically and internationally, 50-80%


Requirements:

• Bachelor degree, preferably in engineering or health care-related
• Experience in a clinical environment preferred
• Prior process engineering experience a plus
• A self-starter that will take initiative
• Ability to exercise sound independent judgment
• Critical analysis skills required
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with the ability to quickly articulate ideas in a fast-paced setting
• High-energy individual with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
• Intermediate to advanced level experience using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience with flow chart software required, preferably Visio
• Able and willing to travel frequently
